A new blog post has been posted by carpet barn creator Mike Cerny, which offers a tutorial for making a carpeted home in under $200.
Cernys tutorial, entitled “How to Make a Carpet Barn”, goes over the process of making a wooden floor, carpet and flooring for your home.
It shows how to get the necessary tools and materials, as well as how to trim the carpet before cutting it.
Cerny’s blog post on carpet barns can be found here: http://www.carpenterybarn.com/blog/how-to-make-a-carpenter-barn-for-200/Carpenters new blog has a $200 reward available if you follow the steps outlined in his tutorial.
Here’s how you can help: Step 1: Find a Woodworker who can help with the woodworking of the furniture.
Step 2: Go to Amazon and get a bunch of carpets.
Step 3: Buy the cheapest floor you can find, and find the wood that looks like the flooring.
Step 4: Trim the carpet, trim the sides and the back, trim around the corners, and then cut it to the length you want.
Step 5: Now, it’s time to finish the wood.
Cutting the wood to the desired length is important, and you need to trim it well.
You can trim it from the sides, to the sides of the pieces, or to the outside of the floor.
Make sure you trim the entire length of the piece, not just the sides.
You don’t want to leave a bit of wood exposed on the outside.
Step 6: Once you’ve cut all the pieces to the exact length you’d like, and trimmed the wood, it is time to start the wood carving process.
Cut the wood at a 90 degree angle to get a nice smooth edge.
Step 7: You’re ready to start wood carving!
Step 8: Start with the corners and the sides that you trimmed.
You want to trim around corners.
Once you have the corners trimmed, you’ll want to make sure that you cut them exactly the same size.
If you’ve trimmed the sides correctly, the wood should be smooth.
Step 9: Make sure that the sides are smooth, and that the wood is still evenly distributed across the sides when you’re finished.
Step 10: Now it’s up to you to cut the pieces.
You should cut a piece that is slightly larger than the size you want, but smaller than the sides you want to cut.
Step 11: Make a cut with a 1/4″ plywood.
This is the same plywood you’ll use to cut your floor, which is about 5 inches across.
Step 12: Make the cut to the other side of the corner you cut the piece to.
The smaller piece is the new piece.
Step 13: Now you’re going to take a look at the other corner.
The pieces should be perfectly aligned, with all the wood aligned perfectly.
Step 14: Cut the pieces that are the same length as the corners.
You will notice that they are about 3 inches from the edge.
Step 15: Now that you have your corners cut, the pieces should fit together perfectly, and be evenly distributed over the wood underneath the corners!
Step 16: Now all you need is the top and bottom pieces.
Cut them with a 3/8″ round saw.
Step 17: Cut a piece the same height as the corner that you want the corner.
Step 18: Now the pieces are ready to be assembled.
Step 19: Place the pieces on the wood floor.
Step 20: The pieces will fit nicely, but they won’t be completely flush.
This can be remedied by sanding the pieces together.
Step 21: Now take the two pieces and sand the two sides of each piece together.
The sides of one piece will need to be sanded down to 1/16″ or less.
Step 22: Now put the two together and put the pieces in the glue bag, making sure that everything is snug.
Step 23: After all pieces are assembled, you will need the bottom piece to attach the wooden pieces.
The glue should adhere well.
Step 24: Attach the bottom and top pieces with a small dowel.
Step 25: Make two wooden pieces that fit snugly on the bottom, and a larger wooden piece that fits snugly around the top.
Carpet barns are also great for adding a modern touch to a home.
You’ll have the option to add the floor and a wall, as pictured in this tutorial.
The wood will still be beautiful, and it will look great as well.
